1- Cookies

Cookies are text files that are stored in folders by the Internet browser on your computer. Cookies are accessed and stored by the websites you visit, and by companies that display their advertisements on websites, so that they can recognize the browser.

Taisson website uses cookies for the following reasons:

To establish statistics and volumes of traffic and use of the various elements comprising the Taisson website, allowing us to improve the interest and usability of our services.

To adapt the presentation of the Taisson site to the display preferences of your terminal (language used, display resolution, operating system used, etc.) during your visits to our site, depending on the hardware and software used to view or read the site.

To help measure and research the effectiveness of our online interactive content, features, advertising, and other communications.

The Taisson site may allow third parties to place their own cookies in your browser to serve you relevant online advertising, and to help us measure traffic and effectiveness as described above, to provide you with access to social networks, features, and services, and to allow us to conduct polls and surveys in which you agree to participate.

Facebook, Google and Twitter place their cookies on the Taisson site to assist in the integration and operation of its social network and use in accordance with their privacy policies. This is particularly true of the “Share” and “Like” buttons from social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, etc. The social network providing such an application button may identify you through this button, even if you did not use this button when visiting our site.

Taisson invites you to consult the privacy policies of these social networks in order to learn about the purposes of use, including advertising, of the browsing information they may collect through these application buttons. These protection policies must allow you to exercise your choices with these social networks, in particular by setting up your accounts for each of these networks.

For information about your choices regarding the installation of cookies, see “Your Choices Regarding Cookies and Web Beacons” at the end of this section.

2- Web Beacons and Other Technologies

We may use standard technologies, such as web beacons or similar technologies, to track your use of the Taisson site. Web beacons (sometimes referred to as clear GIFs, transparent GIFs, or web bugs) are small lines of code that allow us to display a small (usually invisible) graphic image on a web page or in an email. Web beacons can recognize certain types of information on your computer such as cookies, the time and date you viewed a page, and a description of the page where the web beacon is placed.

We use web beacons to enhance your experience on our website, including to provide you with content customized to your interests and to understand whether users are reading emails and clicking on links in those messages so that we can deliver relevant content and offers. Our web beacons may collect certain contact information (for example, the email address associated with an email that contains a web beacon).

Taisson may include third-party web beacons. These web beacons allow third party service providers to collect certain information such as your IP address, browser type, and the web page you visited before arriving at our site. These third party service providers process the information they collect for audit and research purposes.

We do not share your contact information (such as phone number or email address) with these third parties in connection with their use of web beacons.

Mobile Devices

Some mobile devices contain unique identifiers that can be used, for example, to identify the physical location of those devices. In addition, mobile devices transmit caller ID data when they are used to transmit a phone call or SMS. The Taisson website may collect, use, transmit, process and store unique identifiers, caller ID data, geolocation data, and similar information when you use mobile devices, including to provide the services you request, to inform you about offers we think may be of interest to you, and to enhance your experience on the Taisson website . In accordance with applicable law, Taisson will provide you with a simple way to opt-in or opt-out of our collection of the geographic location of your mobile device. The Taisson site may collect your mobile number so that you can participate in certain services or features and this number may be associated with this information.

3- Your Choices Regarding Cookies and Web Beacons

You have the choice of configuring your browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies, inform you when a cookie is issued, how long it is valid and its content, as well as allow you to refuse its storage on your terminal, and delete your cookies periodically. Each browser is different, so please consult your browser’s “Help” menu to learn how to change your cookie preferences, or follow the links below for each browser.

Web beacons are generally used in conjunction with cookies, so if your browser is set to reject cookies, or if cookies are deleted, web beacons will not be able to track your activity as you navigate between websites.

It is up to you to decide whether to allow us or third parties to send you cookies, but if you block cookies, you may not be able to access or view some or all of the Taisson website. By using the Taisson website and choosing not to block or disable cookies, web beacons or similar technologies where you have the option to do so, you consent to the use of personal information in connection with the technologies as described in this policy.

For more information about cookies and web beacons, including how you can manage your browser settings to accept or decline cookies, visit the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés website: http://www.cnil.fr/vos-libertes/vos-traces/les-cookies/.

The choices available to you through your browser

(a) Agreeing to cookies

The recording of a cookie in a terminal is essentially subject to the will of the user of the terminal, which he or she can express and modify at any time and free of charge through the choices offered by his or her browser software.

If you have accepted in your browser software the recording of cookies in your Terminal, the cookies integrated in the pages and contents that you have consulted may be stored temporarily in a dedicated space of your Terminal. They will only be readable by their sender.

(b) Refusing cookies

If you refuse to accept cookies on your terminal, you will no longer be able to benefit from a certain number of features that are nevertheless necessary for browsing certain areas of the Taisson website. This would be the case if you tried to access our content or services that require you to be identified. This would also be the case if we – or our service providers – were unable to recognize, for technical compatibility purposes, the type of browser used by your terminal, its language and display settings or the country from which your terminal appears to be connected to the Internet.

Taisson declines all responsibility for any consequences related to the degraded functioning of our services resulting from the impossibility for Taisson to record or consult the cookies necessary for the functioning of the site and which you have refused or deleted.

There are other options besides browser settings to manage the deposit of cookies on your terminal. Rejecting cookies from the Taisson website does not mean that you will not see any online advertising. It simply means that the advertisements for Taisson products that you receive will not be based on your supposed interests (related to your browsing on Taisson). On the other hand, you may still receive behavioral advertisements from other companies, if you have not declined their cookies.

There are several families of cookies on the Taisson sites:

1. Operation

This is the highest level of deactivation. It only keeps the cookies that guarantee the functioning of the site and allow its optimization. These cookies cannot be deactivated as this would prevent the website from functioning correctly.

2. Social and Webanalytics

This intermediate level of deactivation maintains the social cookies and Webanalytics cookies. Social cookies allow interaction with the social modules present on the site. Disabling them therefore prevents any interaction with social networks. Web analytics cookies allow us to obtain anonymous statistics on the number of visitors to our site in order to optimize it and detect any malfunctions.

Taisson also uses Google Analytics. To block the use of data by Google Analytics: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Taisson uses in particular the Facebook and Twitter sharing buttons:

Please note that your wishes are taken into account based on a cookie. If you delete all the cookies stored on your browser terminal concerning the Taisson site, Taisson -or its service providers- will no longer know what consent you have given. This means that your consent will be reset and you will be asked to provide it again the next time you visit or load a page on the Taisson site.
